Payal Menon has been on both sides of a wedding. As a Malayali bride marrying into a Punjabi family, planning a sister's wedding in Kerala, and later a destination wedding in Khao Lak - each experience was personal, practical, emotional, and deeply hands-on.

She knows what it feels like to be the couple at the centre of it. To navigate two families, two sets of traditions, and still want the day to feel like yours. That understanding is what she brings to every wedding she takes on.

After working with décor companies and co-founding The Madras Wedding Company, one thing became clear: too many weddings were beginning to feel manufactured. And that never felt right. No two couples are the same. No two families are the same. No two stories are the same.

Sukh was built from that belief - that weddings should feel personal, deeply considered, and genuinely enjoyable, not just on the day itself, but throughout the journey of getting there.

How far in advance should we reach out?

Ideally 6 to 10 months out — a little more if you're planning a destination wedding or have a specific venue in mind. That said, if you're working with a shorter timeline, reach out and we'll figure out what's possible together.

Do you travel for destination weddings?

Yes. We've worked across Bangalore, Kochi, Goa, Mahabalipuram, and Khao Lak. If your wedding is somewhere else entirely, let's talk — we're open to it.

We already have some vendors in mind. Is that okay?

Absolutely. We're happy to work with vendors you've already chosen and will coordinate with them exactly as we would with anyone we bring in ourselves. No preference either way.

How does pricing work?

Every wedding is different - guest count, number of events, scale, and scope all matter. We don't do fixed packages. After understanding what you need, we put together a proposal tailored specifically to your wedding - clear on what's included and how we work.

What is the on-ground manpower team?

Our hospitality and logistics team are third-party vendors we trust and work with closely - billed on actuals.
